Controllers
Steam, Xbox, Sony and Nintendo controllers should now work with no setup needed.
The controller menu has been renamed the keyboard menu and rebinds keyboard controls exclusively. Keyboard bindings have been reset to prevent conflicts in the new code.
Fixed a bug where resetting the keys didn't save to file the changes unless other keys were altered.
General
A "golden-eye" icon has been placed in the interface in the upper left corner that will appear when humans are alerted to Eleanor and disappear when she is undetected again.
Levels
Added talking tombstones that can give the player helpful tips.
Ground objects that Eleanor can hide behind have had their width slightly increased.
Cosmetic bats can be retriggered every 25 seconds up from 6 to save a game tester's sanity.
- CryptChanged the mudman section to be one flat area instead of 3 pillars, reducing it's tedium for new players.
Ascent: The wood splitting cabin now rewards the player with a soul for 10 consecutive logs split, if you're fast enough.
Castle: Altered the white room to have an alternative jump to reach the platform from the right side.
- CastleCorrected the misspelling of Drauthu in the boss gallery at the end of the game.
- CastleAdded a new room at the end of the game that showcases human enemies.
Eleanor
Base air acceleration is increased to 5 from 3.
Air break multiplier is adjusted to x2 down from x4, making the value 10 down from 12 under normal movement.
Knockback stun reduced to 0.35 seconds from 0.50 and knockback horizontal force increased to 165 from 120.
Landing lag is reduced to 0.20 seconds from 0.35.
Eleanor's movement will now decelerate at a rate of 12 instead of 6 when landing on the ground so that she slides less.
Zip-line slides on platforms now decay more slowly when the initial speed burst finishes.
Duck delay time has been shortened to 0.05 seconds from 0.2.
Eleanor's climb speed reduced to 105 from 120.
Fixed a bug where Eleanor would lose no blood when taking damage while she were blood rushed and touched environmental hazards.
Reduced landing lag.
Humans
Detection: The rate that Humans will detect Eleanor is slightly slower at long range while being slightly faster at middle and short ranges. Humans no longer instantly detect Eleanor at close range, but instead detect her very rapidly.
- HenchmanProjectile speed reduced to 6 from 9 and projectile size reduced to 8x8 from 10x10.
- MatronProjectile speed reduced to 4 from 5.
- PriestProjectile size reduced to 8x8 from 10x10 and reload speed decreased to 2.2 from 1.8.
- SultressProjectile speed reduced to 4 from 5 and reload speed decreased to 1.5 from 1.25.
Reduced projectile speed.
Monsters
- SillaHer acceleration has been increased to 4 from 3 to compensate for Eleanor's increased air control and the hitboxes on her coils have been slightly shrunk to reduce getting struck on the corners.
