  • UI and audio

changedWhat's next for the game, and how we're making itI (Dima) do everything: code, art, sound. Masha (my wife) helps with testing. Well, tries to. Because when she sits down to test, I can't look away from the screen. And neither can she… A kitchen running on its own, satisfying plops, sounds of the street and nature: they have some kind of hypnotic effect. It gets in the way of testing the game. But we hold it together.
addedWhat's next for the game, and how we're making itThe demo will evolve thanks to you and your feedback. Right now it already has 1+ hour of gameplay, nice food, and a nice atmosphere. Current version is 0.7+. Full release: July 13, 2026 , priced around $2–3 . This summer we'll add a prestige system, decor for the decor lovers, and a lot more.

Hi, everyone! (anyone here?)

Today we released the Sandwich +1 demo on Steam. You can play it right now, for free.

What's it about? Your satisfying clicks and hovers summon a random ingredient onto the bread, and it lands with a satisfying plop. Do this a few times, and you get a sandwich. At first it's small and basic: cheese and lettuce. Then you grow, unlock bacon, ham, eggs, and much more, and the sandwiches get taller and taller…

Your customers are drinks. I mean, what's food without drinks? A bottle of water, a cup of cappuccino, a black tea bag, and other characters.

Then you get tired of doing everything by hand, so you hire workers and cashiers and watch the fire crackle, the water flow, and your kitchen run smoothly without you.

What's next for the game, and how we're making it

I (Dima) do everything: code, art, sound.

Made in Unity. The idea was to make a good, small game: 3-4 hours long, about cooking, in the clicker genre. Something a bit more serious than Burger, but in the same theme. Food just won't let me go as a subject, and I wanted to make something small and nice for people.

The demo will evolve thanks to you and your feedback. Right now it already has 1+ hour of gameplay, nice food, and a nice atmosphere. Current version is 0.7+. Full release: July 13, 2026, priced around $2–3. This summer we'll add a prestige system, decor for the decor lovers, and a lot more.

One idea: let you build a sandwich all the way to the moon. You keep stacking the tower until it reaches the top. If anyone's reading this, what do you think? And how about a moon with little eyes?

P.S.

Please wishlist the game, that way you won't miss any news or demo updates.
