Apologies for keeping you waiting. We know how much you all want to see this feature reintroduced, but we need to make sure we don’t bring it back before we’re confident it won’t be vulnerable to the same kinds of issues that led to its removal in the first place.

Servus Allies,

With the increasing number of reports of a known exploit making the rounds right now, we are pushing the release of the update planned for today to early next week.

With this extra time, we can address some more of the recent exploits that have begun cropping up and ensure we’re reactivating theTrampler Capturing mechanics in a stable and secure environment for our players. Apologies for keeping you waiting. We know how much you all want to see this feature reintroduced, but we need to make sure we don’t bring it back before we’re confident it won’t be vulnerable to the same kinds of issues that led to its removal in the first place.

Ahead of the update's release next week, here is the planned changelist 👇

  • Re-enabled trampler capture

  • Fixed issue that trampler can go under terrain after being destroyed (one of the reasons why some players were kicked due to suspicious activity)

  • Fixed issue that the character was missing customization on the spectator

  • Fixed softlock on the extraction

  • UI fixes

  • Anti-cheat improvements

  • Fixes for a number of significant exploits

Addressing Duplicated Items

In addition, over the last few weeks, we have been able to identify all users who took advantage of an item duplication exploit, as well as the items that were duplicated. Today, as part of a server-side update, we have removed all duplicated items from those who took advantage of the exploit.

This will not impact anyone who did not actively utilize the exploit.

Please don't hesitate to report any issues you encounter or share any feedback you might have following this update on our Steam Forums and Discord!

Catch you on the dunes, Scavengers!
