changedThanks to your participation in clinic governance, we have already implemented multiple improvements to the clinic’s work environment:
addedSteam Deck Verified – You can now guide the healing of minds while traveling.
changedThe Board has now approved a further clinic quality-of-life update focused on money balance , Endless Mode variation , and general stability .
changedThis also includes improvements brought to our attention by you, such as Resolution and Screen Mode Options and Skippable Game Over Cutscenes .
addedThese changes add new shop options, random money events, display settings, and several fixes to prevent progression and UI issues.

Patient Overview – Providing additional information during treatment.

Steam Deck Verified – You can now guide the healing of minds while traveling.

The Board has now approved a further clinic quality-of-life update focused on money balance, Endless Mode variation, and general stability.

This also includes improvements brought to our attention by you, such as Resolution and Screen Mode Options and Skippable Game Over Cutscenes.

These changes add new shop options, random money events, display settings, and several fixes to prevent progression and UI issues.

New Content

Economy / Shop

Added two new extra shop cards.

  • Institutional Donation: spend money to gain prestige.

  • Supplemental Funding: spend prestige to gain money.

  • Cards will appear if the player is low on prestige or money.

Random Events

  • Added new money-related random events for all wards.

  • Added events for unexpected ward expenses, including water damage, nurse overtime, library fees, and clinic vehicle subsidies.

Gameplay / Balance

  • Rebalanced money across all wards.

  • Adjusted economy pacing so surplus money has more use and Endless Mode has more financial variation.

Display / Options

  • Added display options, including resolution and screen mode settings.

  • Fixed several font and spacing issues in the UI.

Cutscenes

  • Added a skip button.

Bug Fixes

  • Improved general stability.

  • Inventory is now pruned on every level change.

    • Item cards marked as survives pruning are kept during level changes.

  • Resolved an issue that could lock players out in Ward 4.
