addedWe recently relaunched Samurai GUNN 2 after working quietly behind the scenes for 3 years rebuilding everything from the ground up in our own custom game engine. (It's called MoonWorks , and it's open source. Feel free to check it out!). We've rewritten the entire game from scratch to ensure it runs FAST, with reliable rollback netcode, and a ton of new graphical and technical enhancements. There's new gameplay mechanics, new character abilities, casual and ranked matchmaking, and tons more . We built it to be a stable foundation for us to update and support for years.
addedWe've got lots of new characters, modes, stages, and features to add. We're aiming for monthly updates, but please be patient with us, as we only have 2 full-time devs on our team!
changedSo what's the deal with the Free Edition?The Free Edition includes all of the content, modes, stages, and unlocks of the paid edition. It also has crossplay with the paid edition in all online modes. The only limitation is character selection. The Free Edition includes 2 playable characters: Hayao and a monthly rotating character. This month you can play as Otomo .
