changedLucky Saloon fixWe’ve received a few reports about a blocker in the Lucky Saloon quest that could stop progression. We’ve just released a fix for it, so if you ran into this issue, please let me know if everything works properly now.
fixedCrouching fistfight fixWe also fixed a (honestly pretty funny) oversight. Cheyenne didn’t reset his position after pickpocketing, which meant that if you were crouching while stealing… you’d also end up fighting in that same crouched position if things went wrong.
changedBehind the scenesWe’re now at an advanced stage of implementing quests for Chapter Three, and our voice actors have already received their scripts and started recording the next batch of dialogue.
addedBehind the scenesIn total, Chapter Three will add nearly 500 new lines for NPCs, followed by another large batch for employees and courtesans. We’re working with some fantastic actors, and I’m really happy to have them on board.
addedA quick questionIf you encounter any new issues, please report them on our Discord or in the “Bug Report” thread in the Steam Discussions. It really helps us keep improving the game.

Lucky Saloon fix

We’ve received a few reports about a blocker in the Lucky Saloon quest that could stop progression. We’ve just released a fix for it, so if you ran into this issue, please let me know if everything works properly now.

Crouching fistfight fix

We also fixed a (honestly pretty funny) oversight. Cheyenne didn’t reset his position after pickpocketing, which meant that if you were crouching while stealing… you’d also end up fighting in that same crouched position if things went wrong.

Endless Training Fix

After the train unloading update, some of you noticed that bonus experience for employees could push them beyond level 10. This caused an issue where employees above the intended maximum level (for example, level 15) would actually perform worse and make more mistakes than those at the default cap of level 10.

Behind the scenes

We’re now at an advanced stage of implementing quests for Chapter Three, and our voice actors have already received their scripts and started recording the next batch of dialogue.

In total, Chapter Three will add nearly 500 new lines for NPCs, followed by another large batch for employees and courtesans. We’re working with some fantastic actors, and I’m really happy to have them on board.

A quick question

While working on the recordings, I started thinking about barks - those short reactive lines like: “By golly! This drink is the bees-knees!” In which situations do you feel there are too few of these lines? Where do they repeat too often?

We’ll definitely be increasing the number of positive customer reactions, but I’m curious if there are other areas that could use improvement. Let me know - I’ll keep it in mind for the next recording session.

If you encounter any new issues, please report them on our Discord or in the “Bug Report” thread in the Steam Discussions. It really helps us keep improving the game.
