What changed
- Gameplay
The past two weeks have mainly been about polishing and refining the game, like making certain battles shorter. A couple big things I've improved were reopening the Prep Screen when you restart a battle and the option to buy items while in the Prep Screen. Prior to this, you would have to exit to the main menu and load the game to get back into that screen. After that was pointed out to me, I had a facepalm moment.
I also finished the story last week. I still need to put everything into the game and make sure it's compelling and interesting, but I'm actually ahead of where I planned to be at this point! My goal for the next couple of weeks are to finish the Demo and continue testing and refining everything I've done up to this point.
The demo is still planned for the end of June with all the improvements I'm mentioning. The Playtest will continue to be available until the Demo is released.
