Roadmap to the Official Steam Demo: What’s Coming this April!

Hello to all our future Investigators! This is Foret Noir Games. 🌲🌑

While Rule the Dungeon has been under development, we recently conducted a private "Lite Demo" (Chapter 0) through the Indie Boost Lab.

The response was overwhelming, and the feedback we received from those early players has been a goldmine for improving the game.

Based on those insights, we are now hard at work crafting the Official Steam Demo, which is scheduled to arrive this late April! 📅

Here is the roadmap of what we are preparing for the Steam debut:

🏙️ 1. Chapter 1: Expanding the World

We are going beyond the initial prologue.

The Steam demo will feature Chapter 1: Elysia District 1.

• 📍 New Main Map & Dungeon: Experience the bustling, bureaucratic atmosphere of the Dungeon Administrative Bureau (DAB).

• ⚔️ Two New Allies: Two unique Hunters will be joining your squad, each with their own exclusive skills and tactical playstyles.

• ✍️ Deeper Narrative: I am polishing the dialogue and world-building to ensure an immersive noir experience.

🛠️ 2. Major Polish Based on Player Feedback

We aren't just adding content;

we are fixing the "rough edges" identified by our early testers to ensure the Steam community gets the best first impression:

• 🛡️ Reimagined QTE & Defense System: We received a lot of feedback on the timing windows. We are reworking the visuals and mechanics to make the defense system feel tighter, fairer, and more satisfying. ⚡

• ⚙️ Optimization & Stability: We are streamlining internal logics and parallel events to ensure smooth performance across various PC setups.

• 📋 Enhanced UX/UI: The investigation menus and UI are being refined for better clarity and ease of use. 🔍

🚀 The Journey to April Begins

This Steam demo won't just be a simple trial —it will be a polished "Vertical Slice" that represents the true quality of Rule the Dungeon.
