fixedI've been up nonstop trying to figure out how to get other headsets to be compatible. Currently setting a default config has been problematic, but will be resolved as soon as I possibly can get a proper action manifest file setup. With this said, if you are on Index there is a temporary fix!
changedIn other notes, for other headsets apparently the hand position was off, so I updated to the OpenXR standard plugin and readjusted. Still need to test if this works for headsets beyond Quest / Oculus Systems.
removedOther updates include : - AI no longer "tweak out" in a weird rotation - Breakinator pickaxe tips work to break items - Physics force increased for the amount force needed to deal damage - UI Settings button fix
fixedFinal note, I am going to be trying to do a Weekly update / patch for these compatibility problems until they are fixed. I want to thank you all for your patience, as the core dev with only a Quest 2 it's hard to solve these things without getting hands on with the headsets. With that said, if you would like to help with configuring your type of headset join our discord! We run rounds of testing and bug finding over there.

Daniel here,

I've been up nonstop trying to figure out how to get other headsets to be compatible. Currently setting a default config has been problematic, but will be resolved as soon as I possibly can get a proper action manifest file setup. With this said, if you are on Index there is a temporary fix!

One of our testers, Quadstrike, has setup a bindings preset for Index that can be copied. If you're on Index and controls are not working, find and copy his binds through the Index Controller Bind Settings.

In other notes, for other headsets apparently the hand position was off, so I updated to the OpenXR standard plugin and readjusted. Still need to test if this works for headsets beyond Quest / Oculus Systems.

Other updates include :

  • AI no longer "tweak out" in a weird rotation
  • Breakinator pickaxe tips work to break items

Physics force increased for the amount force needed to deal damage - UI Settings button fix

Final note, I am going to be trying to do a Weekly update / patch for these compatibility problems until they are fixed. All the best, - DLC
