Citizens, Governors, and Brave City-Builders,

By decree of the Senate and with the (mostly) favourable mood of the Gods, we declare the end of another remarkable year in the history of Roman Triumph.

This year, your cities stood tall. Your walls held. Your ballistae fired. Some settlements fell to Barbarians, beasts, or divine lightning. History will remember them.

In the span of a single year, Roman Triumph achieved what many cities only dream of:

• The dawn of Early Access

• The rise of version 1.0

These milestones were not built by the Senate alone. They were forged by you. Through countless playtests, detailed reports, sharp observations, and fearless exploration of the Experimental branch, you helped shape the game into what it is today.

You tested unstable builds. You angered the Gods in new and creative ways. You found bugs before they could spread like a plague. For that, the Senate salutes you!

We also extend our gratitude to those who left reviews, shared screenshots of their proud cities (and catastrophic failures), and kept the forums and Discord alive with strategy, advice, and the occasional civilised argument.

As the year draws to a close, Rome looks back on its victories, its lessons, and the many battles fought both within the city walls and beyond them.

Celebrate, feast, and enjoy the turning of the year. Keep your citizens warm, your temples tended, and your defenses ready.

May your granaries stay full, your walls strong, and your lightning strikes land on someone else’s city.
