I've been diving deep into the game engine for a few weeks, rewriting things I swore I'd never touch again, but I believe the result has been worth every headache. This isn't a minor update; it's a significant leap in how the game looks, sounds, and most importantly, how it performs on your systems. Here's the main course of what I've just pushed to the Main BETA_V058 branch: 🧠 Brain Evolution: Hello, Qwen 3 I've migrated the game engine to take full advantage of the new generation of Qwen3 models. The old 2.5 series models kicked off RolemIAster's journey, but it's time to leave old glories behind. This quantitative leap in story generation translates to more immersive prose, much stricter rules, and more coherent characters. Prepare your GPUs, because the Game Master has just leveled up. 🎨 AI Finally Picks Up the Brushes (Image Generation) I've integrated the second phase of the AI image generation system. From now on, generated images are of higher quality and better contextualized; it's not the end of the road, but I've made significant progress. And yes, sometimes the AI comes up with very creative ideas, so I've added a management gallery. This way, you can easily delete that image where the AI decided it was a good idea to park a city bus in the medieval castle stable. 🧠 The Lifesaver for Humble GPUs (PSR System) If you have a GPU with 8GB of VRAM (maybe even 6GB, though I can't guarantee it, and if it works, it will be super slow), this is for you. I've created a "Hybrid Governance" system. Basically, the game is now smart enough to know if your GPU is going to drown in context. If so, it divides the heavy work into smaller (iterative) chunks. It will take a bit longer to respond, yes, but in return, you'll be able to generate complete stories and characters without the game crashing. No more fear of +12K tokens. 🗣️ Dynamic Voices and a More Focused Brain Characters are no longer mute entities. I've implemented real-time voices (especially polished in English) that will react to the context. Now, when you enter combat against an enemy, you'll get a proper war cry. Furthermore, I've severely overhauled the AI's narrative memory. I've taught it to distinguish between past memories and the present. It should no longer get stuck in loops repeating what you did three turns ago as if it were happening right now. It will also address you as "You" much more directly, improving immersion. ...and many more things that you'll have to discover by playing (like much more coherent random creations and a ton of bugs I've ruthlessly squashed). ⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR YOUR SAVES Due to the massive amount of internal changes to rules and memory, your previous save games... well, let's just say they *might* work, but most likely they will behave as if they had drunk too many expired potions. I strongly recommend starting a new, clean world. How to try all this out? Remember that this is fresh out of the oven and still in its infancy. As always, thank you very much for your patience, for your support, and for continuing to give me feedback. Doing all this alone is sometimes a challenge, but seeing the game take this shape is more than worth it. It's your turn!
