ROGUERIA: Roguelikes X Tactics changes
Have you all been in good health these days when the world is dizzy from the Covid 19 virus?
This Tuesday we participated in the final audition of the 13th Gyeonggi Game Audition hosted by the government of the Republic of Korea, but unfortunately, we were not included in the last five to be awarded prize money.
However, through the competition, we were able to meet people from various perspectives, and through such meetings, we were able to get a new perspective on what needs to be improved in ROGUERIA.
Thus, we did not get frustrated with the outcome of the convention, but stood up again. We devised a new system that will add interest to the game in a relatively short time.
That is, it is the 'abrupt event system'
The 'abrupt event system' is a system in which an additional effect is given to nodes adjacent to the completed node in probability immediately after the player completes each node on the stage.The node affected by the sudden event is given an additional reward or a buff effect that benefits or damages the player's battle.
We have also given a time limit to each breakout event to add to the fun of the adventure. Players will need to design strategic travel paths to efficiently acquire the benefits applied to nodes and avoid adverse buff effects.
