Rogue Rollout changes
Hi everyone, another small patch was just released that I think should enhance the new player experience a quite bit.
Removed a number of artifacts from showing up in your first two good shops (Rounds 1 & 3) that really aren't great to be picking early. Newer players wouldn't know any better what to choose and it's possible they pick something that sets them off on the wrong foot. The picks available now generally have all score multipliers on them, making it easier to reach the score requirement and in fewer hands.
This should hopefully also speed up the earlier rounds which tend to play slower and give the impression that a full run of 42 rounds will take an eternity, even though the pace picks up shortly after. (A full run typically takes about an hour)
Score requirements are slightly lowered from rounds 7 to 15.
Building Blocks - Each time the same hand is played, its base points increases by 3 for the round. (Previously 2)
Building Blocks Plus - Each time the same hand is played, its base points increases by 5 for the round. (Previously 4)
The Poisonous Dice challenge reward now unlocks the Building Blocks artifacts. (Previously changed the Poisonous Dice hex modifier from 0.2 to 0.5)
A number of artifacts were showing up as options when there were no downsides to taking them if you could only roll the dice 1 time. If you could only roll the dice 1 time before having to pick a hand, anything relating to locking the dice was not relevant and essentially a freebie. The Chains That Bind, Unsturdy Lock, Dice Disorder, The Bad Shoulder, Quick Submission and No Going Back will not show up in shops if you only have 1 roll.
