Rogue Glitch Update 1 - New Challenges, Items, New Character, Tweaks and AMA! (v0.102)

Thank you to everyone who has ventured into Rogue Glitch in these early and exciting times! Over the weekend I’ve built the beginning of the challenge system and Steam achievements.

addedThank you to everyone who has ventured into Rogue Glitch in these early and exciting times! Over the weekend I’ve built the beginning of the challenge system and Steam achievements. Each of these challenges offer a new item for your pool as a reward and the “Untouchable” challenge will grant you access to the latest playable character, Igor.
addedIgor benefits from a stacking rage affect that increases damage output for a short duration after destroying an enemy. Igor rewards a swift and aggressive playstyle (and may be a tad strong at the moment so give it a whirl before the balance-hammer comes knocking!) Today, Numskull Games and I are hosting an AMA on the r/Games subreddit. We’d like to invite you all to join us if you have time to drop by! https://www.reddit.com/r/Games/comments/csi0nf/ama_i_am_lino_slahuschek_solo_developer_of_rogue/ Patch Notes - Challenges implemented (Should sync with Steam achievements shortly) - Character “Igor” added - Balance changes to reduce unfair spikes in difficulty - Enemy behaviour and properties tweaked - Likelihood of especially hard rooms reduced - Tweaked numerous items, most important changes: - "Corrupt Items" are more common now - "SpinningMace" damage increased - "IceCube" lower chance to freeze but higher freeze duration - "GoldenAmulet" reduced chance, reduced enemy golden-state duration - "Grenade" damage increased - "ExplosiveLove" explosion immunity applied to the whole team - "MissileBarrage" missile count increased - "DamageBoost" reduced damage As always, we welcome you to contribute your feedback and suggestions on the Steam Discussion boards! I’d love to hear how you are getting on with Rogue Glitch and what areas you would like to see improved as a priority. I will pin two threads for community item and character ideas this week.
