What a first week, a couple of troublesome bugs were sent to the depths early on but having talked to several players I am pleased they are having fun albeit some were finding the difficulty a little over tuned. The subsequent changes have hopefully mitigated that and I am grateful of all the feedback which will help the game evolve further. Now onto the news.

New starting class - Acolyte
New early stage enemy - Swarm
More floor layouts in the upper dungeon
Meet the acolyte:
This intrepid adventure has not yet finished but is desperate to make a descent. Whilst unpredictable due to around a 1 in 4 chance of his spell backfiring, the chance of extra DARK damage output could really tip the balance in the early game. Acolyte comes unlocked for all from the outset.
Swarms!
Swarms of angry, oversized insects seem to have made their way into the upper dungeon. Not too dangerous these should prove easy targets for a bit of XP.
Other changes:
Assassin base HP increased from 16 to 18
A couple of new dungeon floors have been added to keep things fresh.
Slightly reduced enemy spawn rate in the first 5 floors.
What's next?
The next content update will be around the first week in December, with a new unlockable class, Boon, more floors and a limited time holiday event.
