Rocks Tools Hordes changes
Steam post image Hey everyone!
First of all — thank you for playing our first demo and taking the time to share your feedback. We’ve read all of it. Seriously. After the demo went live, we didn’t slow down — we dug into every report, comment, and suggestion to make the game better before Steam Demo Fest.
What we’ve fixed since the last update:
Save files
Fixed issues with saves failing to load, items disappearing, and several cases where players could get stuck after loading.
Crafting
Crafting actions that didn’t work properly are now fixed. Timers are more reasonable, and hand-crafting no longer feels delayed or broken.
Zombies
Say goodbye to disappearing zombies, invisible attackers, and weird damage reactions.
Progression blockers
We fixed multiple soft-lock situations like missing hammers, destroyed stations, and other issues that could stop your progress.
Movement
Sprint now works consistently when you expect it to.
Repair system
Repairs now use one repair kit at a time instead of consuming all of them.
Tutorials
Added clearer explanations for the core mechanics, especially for new players.
Small but important things
More available wood, better keyboard bindings, siege timer adjustments, and other quality-of-life improvements.
What we’ve added to the game:
Growing System
You can now grow your own food and trees. Less running around the map looking for resources, more planning and survival.
Slot Machine
An arcade machine where you can spend coins you find and win valuable loot. Each coin increases your chances, so a win is guaranteed.
Lore Journal
Notes written by the girl about the strange world she found herself in — and how to survive in it. A bit more story and atmosphere.
We’re a small team, and unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to make old save files compatible with all the new changes. This means you’ll need to start a new game. We’re really sorry about this and truly appreciate your understanding.
We’re very excited to meet you at Steam Demo Fest!
If you’d like to support Rocks Tools Hordes, please consider adding it to your wishlist, leaving a like, sharing it on social media, and telling us what you think.
