Road Domination changes
We are thrilled to announce a new major update to Road Domination. The game has been completely re-written, with major improvements to almost every aspect.
Improved Visuals
Majority of the textures and 3D models have been improved or re-made. Buildings, pavements, terrain, vegetation – all are brand new. Roads are now designed in a different way to look more realistic.
The new version of the game uses Direct3D 12 driver for rendering, but it will automatically fallback to Vulkan or OpenGL if necessary.
Performance
The overall performance of the game is noticeably better. You should observe increased framerate and smooth gameplay.
Physics Engine
By utilising Jolt Physics, we were able to significantly improve the behaviour of cars. This change should positively impact playability and overall realism of the game.
Parked Cars
As you drive around the improved world, you may notice cars parked on the streets. They are movable obstacles, which you can push around and use to block the police. But be careful not to impede yourself.
Larger Text
Text in the game is displayed using larger font sizes, resulting in improved accessibility and better experience on smaller screens.
Imperial Units
We've added selection of speed units used by the speed indicator. In addition to km/h, you can now choose mph.
No Extra Cost
Even though we re-built Road Domination from the ground up, you receive it as an update to the old game, without extra cost. You don't need to buy any DLC or any new game. We wanted to make our product better, and we don't want you to pay twice for the same game.
Thank you and enjoy playing.
