Slade’s Ship Has Arrived!
The Swagger of the Sea has made it to Merchant Port, and he’s ready to claim your loot! Using his trusty blade, the weaponry hidden in his coat, and the useful equipment stored in his favorite chest, Slade keeps his opponents on their toes, never letting them know his next move. What will he use next?!
Slade is available right now for free with all of the standard content included in a new Rival release. This includes local game mode updates, progression unlocks, achievements, and a slew of cosmetics available through both free progression and the shop:

Lovers Unmatched - April Monthly Event
The Lovers Unmatched event is here from 4/7/26 - 5/5/26 with a paid bundle that includes 3 new Aether High skins - Lovers Absa, Lovers Slade, and Lovers Ranno, each with their own yearbook photo icons to match, plus coins and bucks. The free event track includes the Lovers Loxodont Skin and Icon, plus the Lovers Platform, Lovers Absa Emote, and the Saved by the Bell death effect.
Players equipping any of the new event skins above, or any of the past Lovers Fleet, Olympia, Clairen, or Zetterburn skins will receive 20% Bonus XP on the event track.
Item Mode
We’ve added a new item mode jam packed with 20 different items, all with their own unique abilities. When enabled, these items will periodically spawn all across the map, waiting to be picked up. Get to them before your opponent does!
- CosmeticProximity MineSticks to any surface it hits and explodes when anyone is nearby.
- CosmeticFood BowlBreaks on impact with ground or players, dropping food that players can pick up to heal
- CosmeticVine WrapBounces around and wraps enemy players on contact.
- CosmeticPower DrillStops a short distance after being thrown, pointing in the direction you threw it in. Can also burrow through the ground.
- CosmeticTraining BumperTravels a short distance before stopping in place and pushing players that run into it.
- CosmeticIce SpikeSpikes opponents and freezes them upon hitting the ground.
- CosmeticCrystal SpikeCrystallizes opponents on hit. Upon hitting the stage, it covers the ground in crystal spikes.
- CosmeticCollision CoresGives players three powerful cores that rotate around them and strike enemy players with overwhelming strength.
- CosmeticCaelan OrbSurrounds the player in a slow-ticking shock bomb that hits opponents all around them.
- CosmeticGooplicatorSplits into two goops anytime it is thrown. It will continue to duplicate until it hits its max number. When its time is up, every goop will explode!
- CosmeticCheese BlockA large block of cheese that has high hitpause and flinches opponents who are grounded.
- CosmeticBeehiveAttaches to players it hits and spawns a swarm of bees that follow them, dealing damage over time. Hitting another player passes the bees to them.
