Get ready to experience horse racing like never before!

Welcome to our very first developer blog for Rival Stars Horse Racing: VR Edition! We’re here to give you a closer look at what we’ve been working on and how we’re bringing this immersive VR experience to life.

A Unique Equestrian Experience for VR

With Rival Stars Horse Racing: VR Edition, step into the ultimate equestrian experience—your very own horse ranch, brought to life in a beautifully immersive VR world. Here, it’s all about creating bonds with your horses as you care for and train them, raise adorable foals, and ride in thrilling races. Every detail has been crafted to make you feel like you’re truly part of ranch life

Bringing Realism to the VR Experience

To make your experience as authentic as possible, we’ve integrated motion capture to capture real-life horse movements and behaviours. This means your horse won’t just look the part—they’ll respond to you naturally, from a friendly neigh to shifting their stance when you’re nearby. We want every interaction to feel meaningful, whether it’s a gentle pat or the thrill of galloping.

Designing a Detailed World

In VR, exploration is key, and we know you’ll want to take a closer look at everything around you. We’ve designed the ranch with care, so you’ll feel like you’re stepping into a real-life horse haven. Each object and interaction, like brushing your horse or getting ready for a race, has been carefully crafted to immerse you in every aspect of ranch life.

Sound Design

Sound plays an essential role in VR, and we’ve put careful thought into creating an audio experience that’s fully immersive.
