Ritual Party changes
🔧 Patch Notes - 10th of March
This update focuses on bug fixes, online co-op improvements, gameplay polish, and performance optimizations.
Online Co-op Improvements
Fixed online party clients not initializing correctly when joining a party in the character selection screen
Fixed unlocks and progression not saving properly for online party clients
Fixed Aleifr not unlocking for all players in an online party
Fixed multiple local players being brought into an online party unexpectedly
Improved player and gamepad initialization during online play
Gameplay & Mechanics Fixes
Fixed several cases where players could place or throw items into walls, underground, or out of bounds
Fixed player clipping through terrain while dragging idols and falling through floors
Fixed dash and throw interaction issues:
Players can now start charging a throw while dashing
Fixed dash being blocked when holding the throw button
Fixed player being able to start vacuuming while dashing
Fixed idol drag behavior when rooms teleport in Mansion 05
Fixed items being blocked incorrectly by the ritual circle in Mansion 00
Level Fixes
Fixed police not entering through the front door in Mansion 01
Fixed neighbour closing the door after police entered, trapping them inside
Ghost, portal monster and blood manifestation can no longer spawn when old one has been summoned
Any ghosts or portal monsters now despawn once the Old One is summoned
Item Fixes
Fixed items spawning underground when dropped just before drowning
Fixed items appearing on delivery boats before the previous delivery returned
Fixed delivery boat stuttering in Docks 05
Fixed delivery boat sound not playing when ordering items immediately after a previous delivery
Fixed items falling through the map when thrown under stairs in Docks 00
Interaction & UI Improvements
Fixed use-item prompt appearing incorrectly when items are dropped on workstations
Items can now be picked up immediately after being dropped
Fixed prisoner cage door playing sound repeatedly when interrupted
Fixed sacrifice rotation on ritual circle in Mansion 01
Fixed lambfish placement on ritual circle
Progression & Save Fixes
Fixed level completion time in save files being overwritten even when the new time was slower
Performance & Technical
Optimized multiple asset texture sizes
Removed unnecessary collision above shack doorframe
Attempted fix for the Hologram Monster logo not appearing on game startup
âš Known Issues
We are currently investigating the following:
Helping an online party host unlock later levels does not unlock the intermediate levels (Example: unlocking level 5 does not unlock levels 3–4)
If Aleifr is unlocked but the level is not finished, the Unlock Aleifr star is not granted
Online party clients can currently only navigate pause menus using the mouse
Online party clients may see fog on the World Map that the host does not
Online party clients cannot currently see level info popups on the World Map
