addedI originally released Rise of the Village Hero in January 2024, and as of March 2025 the game reached version 1.0, with all the content I set out to add. In the previous major update, I was also able to introduce partial controller support, which was something I really wanted to include.
changedThank you again for being part of this journey. It hasn’t been easy, but I’m incredibly proud to have reached this point. Guy and I are very grateful that you gave us the chance to tell this story, and I’m excited to see what stories I’ll be able to tell in the future.

I want to start by saying a huge thank you to everyone who has played the game, given me the chance to keep working on it, and shared feedback along the way.

I originally released Rise of the Village Hero in January 2024, and as of March 2025 the game reached version 1.0, with all the content I set out to add. In the previous major update, I was also able to introduce partial controller support, which was something I really wanted to include.

With this latest update, I have now completed the quest achievements in the game. I’ve tested them to make sure they trigger correctly, and they’re all working as intended. There are 60 achievements in total, so I hope you enjoy unlocking them as you progress through the quests.

This update also marks the final update for my first-ever commercial game. I’ve achieved everything I set out to do with the project- and a little more.

However, this is not the end for the world of Rise of the Village Hero. I plan to take everything I’ve learned from developing this game, along with all the feedback I’ve received and ideas from other modern ARPGs, and use that knowledge to improve future sequels.

Thank you again for being part of this journey. It hasn’t been easy, but I’m incredibly proud to have reached this point. Guy and I are very grateful that you gave us the chance to tell this story, and I’m excited to see what stories I’ll be able to tell in the future.

Thank you, and see you at the next one.

Silviu
