Rise of the Bugs changes
As we start another year, we wanted to share the progress made on Rise of the Bugs! While development might seem quiet on the surface, there's been substantial work happening behind the scenes. The game is absolutely NOT abandoned, and we're marching toward an exciting milestone.
Major Milestones Completed:
Boss Mechanics - The first boss encounter has been fully designed.
Enemy Polish - Existing enemy mechanics have been completely refined and optimised for better gameplay flow and visual feedback.
Visual Effects - Mechanical effects have been added across various mechanics, enhancing the visual feedback and player experience.
Tutorial Level - The tutorial level is now complete!
Demo Level Preparation - We're currently in the final polishing phase for the demo version, with all levels being refined for maximum impact.
What's Next:
A playable demo is scheduled for early 2026! This will be your first chance to experience Rise of the Bugs firsthand and provide feedback that will shape the full release.
