We’re back — and we’ve reached 200+ wishlists!
After a short pause in updates, it’s time to share some exciting news.
First of all, thank you to everyone who has shown interest in Rise of the Bugs. We’ve officially crossed the 200 wishlist milestone, which is a huge step forward for this project. As a solo developer, your support means a lot and gives this strange little world of mutant roaches a real shot at life.
Today also marks the release of our official teaser trailer. This is the first full look at the atmosphere, pacing, and ideas behind the game. Every pixel and line of code has been carefully crafted — and while there’s still work to do, I’m proud to finally show what Rise of the Bugs is becoming.

What’s next? We’re actively moving toward releasing a playable demo version of Rise of the Bugs as part of one of this year’s upcoming Steam festivals. The goal is to give players a hands-on experience with the game’s core mechanics, characters, and atmosphere — and to gather early feedback from the community. Development is progressing steadily, and we're focusing on polishing the first levels to make sure the demo reflects the vision and quality we’re aiming for in the full release.
Thanks again for your support. Feel free to leave your thoughts or questions in the comments — I’m always reading.
