Retro Manager changes
Hi everyone!
I've been hard at work on the next major update for Retro Manager, and I wanted to share some of the biggest improvements currently in development.
🏟️ A Brand New Campus
One of the biggest additions is an entirely new Campus screen.
Rather than managing training facilities, youth development, and commercial infrastructure from different areas, everything is now brought together into a dedicated hub.
From the Campus you'll be able to:
Upgrade your training facilities
Develop your youth academy
Set your youth academy intake focus
The goal is to make growing your club feel much more connected and give you clearer long-term development decisions.
🏟️ Stadium Visual Overhaul
I've completely reworked how stadiums are displayed.
Instead of a single static image, stadiums are now built from multiple graphical layers including:
Stadium bowl
Terraces and seating
Roofs
Floodlights
Construction overlays
This new system allows stadium upgrades to be reflected visually as your club grows.
Another nice touch is that stadium seating is now tinted using your club colours, making every ground feel a little more unique.
This has been one of the largest graphical projects since Retro Manager launched, with dozens of new HD pixel-art assets created specifically for the system.
🛡️ Improved Team Crests
I've also refreshed a large number of club crests.
Changes include:
Higher-quality HD artwork
Cleaner white backgrounds
Smaller file sizes for improved performance
New crests for clubs that were previously missing
This includes many clubs from the recently added countries, helping the game look more polished throughout.
🐞 Bug Fixes
I've continued working through community feedback as well.
One frustrating issue where the game could become stuck when advancing past transfer window negotiations has now been fixed, so progressing through the season should be much smoother.
Thank you to everyone who reported the problem.
Still More to Come...
There's still plenty of work underway before this update is ready.
I'm continuing to improve the stadium builder, expand club facilities, polish the user interface, and fix bugs as I go.
As always, thank you for all your feedback and support. Every suggestion, bug report, and review helps make Retro Manager a better game.
See you in the next development update!
