Changes

  • Retail Mage now has achievements!

  • Added more narratively unique naming and descriptions to some objects.

Bug Fixes

  • Re-added some floating cloud signs.

  • NPCs should no longer walk on top of flaming braziers and incinerate themselves.

  • Fixed some typos.

  • Fixed an issue where object offsets weren’t properly replicated to clients, causing players to get stuck in chairs.

  • Fixed an issue where NPCs would follow a missing target if multiple players tried to talk to them at once.

Steam Deck Support

Pending a Steam Deck update from Valve, you can do the following to play Retail Mage on Steam Deck:

  1. Select Retail Mage

  2. Open Retail Mage’s Settings (gear icon on the right)

  3. Click Properties

  4. Scroll down to Compatibility

  5. Check the "Force the use of a compatibility tool" box

  6. Scroll down and select "Proton Experimental"
