Hello everyone! Restless Rites has just been updated before the game debuts on this month's Steam Next Fest!
This update is focused mostly on the game's presentation and pacing. The main goal here was to improve some small bits of the game to hopefully result in a better introductory experience to the game while reducing the time player's will spend on the Tutorial. A third "chapter" was added which functions as a small ending to the demo, with a small surprise.

Tutorial
Increased player Move Speed (Tutorial Only)
Reduced the number of Leaf Piles on the Leaf Sweep Tutorial
Removed the second breakable platform on the Trash Throwing Tutorial
Removed the breakable platform placed before the Cemetery

Added a new introduction sequence for the Chapel in the Tutorial
Added an "Interlude" chapter which functions as the demo's ending
Bug Fixes
Fixed being able to create gasoline puddles on wall lamps
Fixed the text size on some UI elements breaking on certain languages
Fixed a bug in which the player would soft-lock themselves in the Tutorial's Firing Range
Quality of Life
Added a spotlight to the Confessionary after finishing all the tasks for the day
You can now attack the Phone Ghost with your Broom
