Reshine changes
Over the past few weeks, we've received hundreds of questions about Reshine, so we thought this would be a good opportunity to answer some of the most common ones.
But first, we have some exciting news!
We're happy to announce that Korean, Turkish, and Italian are officially coming to Reshine!
That means the full version of the game (and the upcoming demo!) will support the following languages:
English
French
German
Polish
Simplified Chinese
Spanish (Spain)
Japanese
Portuguese (Brazil)
Russian
Korean
Turkish
Italian
Every piece of written text in the game will be translated, so no matter which language you choose, you'll be able to enjoy the full restoration experience.
Frequently Asked Questions
🎮 Will Reshine support Steam Deck?
Yes! The current playtest build is fully playable on Steam Deck, and we're continuing to ensure the experience feels great on handheld devices.
🎮 Will the game support controllers?
Absolutely. Reshine will feature full controller support, whether you prefer playing with a controller on PC or on a handheld device.
🖥️ Will Reshine come to Mac?
At the moment, our primary focus is delivering the best possible experience on Windows.
We're not ruling out a macOS version in the future, but we don't have any plans to announce at this time.
As for Linux, it isn't currently planned.
This communicates that macOS is still a possibility without creating expectations, while giving a clear answer on Linux. It also reads more naturally than simply saying "it's not planned."
💰 How much will Reshine cost?
Another question we've seen quite a lot!
While we haven't announced an official price yet, our goal is to keep Reshine affordable and accessible.
We're currently aiming for a price below $10, though this isn't final and may change before release.
Reshine is designed to be a relaxing experience that you can pick up whenever you want to unwind, and we want the price to reflect that philosophy.
🎮 What about Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox?
This has easily been one of the most frequently asked questions.
The incredible response to Reshine has encouraged us to explore bringing the game to as many platforms as possible.
Nintendo Switch feels like a natural home for a cozy restoration game, and PlayStation and Xbox are also platforms we're actively looking into.
That said, we don't want to announce anything until we're completely certain, so for now we can't officially confirm any console versions. As soon as we have news to share, you'll hear it from us first.
🛠️ Has anything changed since the playtest?
The core vision of Reshine remains exactly the same.
We're creating a calm, stress-free restoration experience focused entirely on bringing forgotten antiques back to life.
That means no shop management, no customers, and no time pressure just satisfying restoration at your own pace.
The upcoming demo will include a number of improvements and additional polish. One feature we're currently prototyping is the ability to clean bolts, screws, and other small parts separately, giving every component a little more attention during the restoration process.
The gameplay loop, however, remains unchanged. Our goal is still to create a relaxing, minimalistic restoration experience that lets you unwind without unnecessary stress.
Thank You
Seeing so many people excited about our game has honestly been incredible.
Whether you've been following Reshine since the reveal or you've only recently discovered it, thank you for being part of this journey.
We can't wait for you to experience the demo later this year, and we'll have plenty more to share as development continues.
See you soon,
Quite OK Team
