Remote Reaper: FPV Combat Drone Simulator changes
Update 0.8.1 brings significant performance improvements, updated maps, and the long-awaited Steam Workshop support! (testing phase)
🗺️ Updated "Broken Fields" and "Fields" maps
Both maps have received significant updates! The "Broken Fields" map features a completely updated river. The "Fields" map now includes a radio tower with a military camp, a small settlement, and a checkpoint!
🎮 Expanded controller support
Added support for controller buttons and 3-position switches! Now you can configure trigger zones for switches and buttons for maximum control precision.
🪖 Improved infantry behavior
Infantry has become smarter! Now they maintain formation while moving, and when detecting danger, they prioritize hiding in buildings or dense vegetation.
📱 Virtual stick customization
Added the ability to remove virtual sticks from the screen for a cleaner interface.
🎯 Steam Workshop is here!
Steam Workshop support testing has begun! Now pilots can share their missions and play missions created by other pilots! This feature is still in testing. Please report any issues!
⚡ Massive performance optimization
Significantly improved video memory usage optimization and GPU load!
On high settings, video memory usage decreased by an average of 1.5 GB, the number of draw calls was reduced by 2.5 times for the most demanding map (Broken Fields).
On the test system, these changes resulted in an average frame rate increase of 12 FPS, significantly reduced freeze frequency, and maximum GPU load!
