About six weeks ago (I think) this store page went live, and it's about time to provide an update. I'm diligently at work creating the game, every waking second of my spare time between life duties is spent developing it. This unfortunately, of course, leaves no time for the marketing and front-end face of the game. The store page currently is very lackluster - no images in the description, just a block of text, and the screenshots just don't really depict what the game is, not that that's easy to convey anyway.
I'm currently developing things that can be shown and displayed in marketing material, stuff that I can include in the store page or in social media posts. Here and there I get something that is at least presentable for a media post, though when I do I get virtually 0 engagement whatsoever, which leaves me a bit hopeless, but I'll just keep working on the game.
Earlier this month I submitted a build of the game to Tiny Teams hoping for a spot, which would be an enormous break, but by pure numbers I have a 1/16 chance of getting in so we'll see how that goes. Regardless, it's my goal to have a full demo in by mid August - we'll see how THAT goes. Though if I'm selected to Tiny Teams, I will absolutely require one, the event of which does run in mid August.
Anyway I'll keep trying to find content to produce that's engaging enough without being clickbaity or deceptive in it's intent, and hopefully I'll find some things that get more than 1 stray upvote.
