Realindustry changes
The biggest update for the Realindustry Demo is finally live! Version 0.3.0 is entirely focused on making the game smoother, faster, and much more enjoyable to play.
I’ve been reading all of your feedback, and this update directly targets the most frequent pain points you’ve reported. I’ve fixed the major bugs, removed the need to memorize recipes, and finally killed that annoying scrolling issue.
Here is what’s new in v0.3.0:
The Operations Board (No More Memorizing!)
This is the centerpiece of the update. You no longer need to keep recipe requirements in your head! You can now pin recipes, building requirements, and research items to a dedicated Operations Board.
Track total resource requirements across all pinned items.
Adjust iteration counts and change fuel choices right from the board.
The board automatically clears items as you complete actions (or you can do it manually).
Quick-jump straight to the relevant production or research screen.

Full Hotkey System & PC-First Polish
The interface is now much faster to navigate. We’ve introduced a fully customizable hotkey system.
Rebind core navigation and gameplay actions to your liking.
Hotkey hints now display directly on supported UI buttons.
Added full keyboard support for recipe navigation and production presets.

Annoying Scrolling & UI Bugs Fixed!
You spoke, I listened. The frustrating navigation quirks have been ironed out.
- Buildings ListThe game now remembers your last opened building position. Buildings can be focused reliably from other screens, and we've added scroll-to-top/bottom quick buttons.
Research Tree: Nodes now reliably preserve their positions. No more losing your place after moving things around!
- General PolishImproved button hover behaviors, cleaner layout spacing, and smarter filtering.

Almanac 2.0
The Almanac is now a true planning tool, not just a reference book.
You can now pin recipes directly from the Almanac.
New filters: hide unresearched recipes or recipes for buildings you haven't constructed yet.
Cards now clearly show if the required building is constructed.

The Tier 5 Milestone Event
Reaching a major progression milestone should feel special. I’ve added a brand-new cinematic-style reveal sequence for the Registry unlock, complete with unique visual glitch effects and new audio.
More Settings, Audio Updates & Languages
- SettingsAdded a new Hotkeys tab, toggles for Almanac behavior, and Header pinning options.
- AudioAdded new dedicated SFX for pinning/unpinning, opening the board, and milestone events. Volumes now respect your settings much better.
- LocalizationAdded/expanded translations for English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Russian, Ukrainian, and Chinese!
