This update customises our integration with LIV.tv to improve how mixed reality footage is composited when you’re laying down, for exercises such as push ups.

For most VR content, where you are generally standing upright, then mixed reality compositors can assume the video outline of your body is positioned in virtual reality in line with your VR headset (i.e. your feet are roughly underneath your head). Since this isn’t always true within RealFit if you’re laying down then we would sometimes see mixed reality artefacts such as feet being chopped off, or the back of your exercise mat being cut off.

In this latest update we’ve modified how LIV composites mixed reality content for RealFit to allow for feet that aren’t always directly underneath your headset, and also enables you to have a physical exercise mat on top of your greenscreen which shouldn't get chopped in half.

We'd love to hear more feedback on our mixed reality support from anyone using LIV!
