Repeated intro

Hello Rattys!

What changed

3 fixes0 additions1 change0 removals
  • Fixes
  • Balance
  • Gameplay
fixedCleaned up confusion spots! I watched every single video and stream of my game since launch and I have fixed all of the spots that caused players confusion by adding a few various props and pieces to help navigation.
fixedFixed a few frustration spots! Similar to above, I have also addressed a few places that felt "unfair" or caused a lot of failed jumps; or I have added very light safety pieces to give you a chance to recover. This was only in a very select few places because I don't want to make the game hand-holdey and easy, I still want to preserve the challenge and spirit of the game. Example: After you circle around the back of the house in Crystal Caverns and get up on the wooden platform, you must jump across small planks. In the old game, falling meant a drop straight down to the bottom of the first zone, but now I have added a few small platforms underneath that you can land on if you play it safe.
changedThe game will now launch in 1920x1080. The old version launched in 1280x720 and caused many streamers with overlays headaches.
fixedFixed framerate has been removed and a smoothed framerate (tries to stay between 25fps and 144fps) is now implemented instead. This should remove the issue some players had where the game performed as if it was underwater in slow motion.

  • Secret cheeses that you have found are permanently found and won't reappear between sessions. Although your location and zone reached won't be saved upon quitting, you will keep all your achievements, found cheeses, keybind and options, and the secret unlock for finding all 7 cheeses.

  • The game will now launch in 1920x1080. The old version launched in 1280x720 and caused many streamers with overlays headaches.

As a note, the game still starts at medium graphical settings, so please feel free to increase draw distance and foliage if you don't like the pop-in that occurs!
