Randy & Manilla changes
As explained in the previous article, the following details and improvements will be described now that the update has been released.
If you're not yet aware of the update, here's the link:
The update adds over 15 new soundtracks and remixes, including the theme song titled "A New World is Coming".
If you're one of those who likes to achieve the highest possible ranks, there's good news.
By opening the pause menu and pressing the "ranks" button, you'll see a table with all the levels and their ranking systems.
As of the article's date, the ranks for the last two missing levels are not available, nor are there many accessible options for replaying said levels (only through the victory screens or after playing the entire game from the Net-Cubes map), so these features will be implemented in the future.
Among other changes and additions:
One of the most noticeable is that some buttons in Quantum City now have icons indicating the actions that will be performed when they are pressed.
Gameplay and Physics Changes:
Fixed sections where returning to the Quantum City level map forced players to repeat level 6-2
During the initial sprint from mid-jump, the character is much less likely to fall in low gravity
Minor camera adjustments in level 6-1
Reduced sensitivity on the buttons related to camera settings (LT/L2 and RT/R2)
More scenes where characters don't get stuck outside of dialogue triggers
On the main menu, controller map buttons can light up to check if they are working
Faster auto-rotation triggers
Reduced Golembrick's health from 40 to 30
Smoother camera auto-rotation
The Cy-Wasp battle is slightly better balanced
Other Changes:
Teleporters in 5-1 no longer turn off
Minor label change in level 1-3
Terra-Qubitans have their own icons in their dialogues
Improved vibration tuning for the Terra-Qubit boss
Reduced loading time after defeating Cracksom in Abstractia
Changed particle color when teleporters turn into rings after healing in level 6-1
Improved shadow quality at long distances
Particle effect for enemies that take more than one hit (3D levels only)
When the Crackscorpion roars, post-processing now appears to enhance the visual impact
Fixed muted music when loading outside of Quantum HND
Red walls are more glitched
Added arrows to the Net-Cubes map from very specific points
With all the aforementioned points, the roadmap has been updated as shown in the following image:
As I explained in the Quantum City update, the Fakepeace block is now marked with a tick in the icon to indicate that it is complete. So now all that remains is to mark the other two blocks.
From this point on, it could be said that Randy & Manilla is very close to achieving its final version, but we can't guarantee that it will arrive very soon, since several factors make it very likely that the game will end up being a different project out of necessity.
However, its respective patches will arrive over time.
I hope you enjoy the Fakepeace update ;)
(Note: If you have your save file on Blacksquare, once the game is updated, you will skip the seventh Net-Cube section).
