Randy & Manilla works with Steam Controller!

Taking advantage of the fact that the Steam Controller was launched with great fanfare on May 4, 2026, it's a good time to share our first impressions of playing Randy & Manilla with one we received.

The game works very well with the Steam Controller, is identical to Steam Deck, and its default Steam Input configuration replicates the setup we configured for the game on controllers:

The big problem arises when you want to play the game outside of Steam, as it doesn't work via Xinput and relies on an incomplete and deficient configuration.

However, playing Randy & Manilla with the Steam Controller within Steam is a highly recommended experience.
