🎮 Raiders Rise – Sprint 31 Community Update

Welcome to a new update! This sprint has been marked by one of the most important milestones so far: the launch of the public demo. A large part of the team’s work has focused on improving stability, preparing the game for Steam Next Fest, and continuing to refine systems and content. Here’s everything we’ve been working on.

🚀 Demo Launch and Next Fest Preparation

The Raiders Rise public demo officially launched during this sprint.

From this point on, the main focus of development shifted toward:

  • Improving demo stability

  • Fixing detected bugs and issues

  • Polishing final details before Steam Next Fest

In addition, community feedback and reports gathered during playtests are already being directly integrated into our development priorities.

🧩 Shop, Battle Pass, and Monetization Systems

🛒 Complete Shop Rework

The in-game shop has been completely redesigned and migrated to a more advanced backend.

Steam post image New features include:

  • Rotating offers

  • Limited-time offers

  • Discounts

  • Offers tailored to different player types

🎁 Battle Pass Improvements

We have also significantly improved the Battle Pass experience:

  • New reward confirmation screens

  • More polished opening and claiming sequences

Players can now:

  • Purchase offers using premium currency

  • Buy cosmetic fragments directly

The core reward and purchase systems are now fully functional and have entered the polish phase.

🌐 Scalable Online Infrastructure

The online environment and backend infrastructure have been finalized and connected.

Servers now support:

  • Automatic scaling

  • Large numbers of simultaneous players

  • Stable live deployment preparation

🧪 Steam Release Pipeline

New dedicated tools have been added to:

  • Test release candidates before launch

  • Validate builds before publishing

This allows us to iterate faster and reduce risks before releasing new updates.

🛠 Tutorial Tools

New internal tools have also been added to speed up tutorial development:

  • Jump directly to specific checkpoints

  • Instantly test individual sections

This greatly improves testing speed and the polishing workflow.

A safer display settings system has been implemented:

  • Players can automatically revert incompatible settings

We have also made general improvements to stability and usability within the settings menu.

🎨 New Skins

We continue expanding cosmetic content with new skins and variations:

  • New Kurt variant

  • Jack – Pro Player Skin

  • Kathy Community Skin

As well as new 3D models for Jaeger, Snowbird, and Zen.

🐧 Community Skin

The skin selected through the community vote has now been chosen and entered production.

Based directly on player feedback and participation, it will include:

  • Emotes

  • Sprays

  • Additional cosmetics related to the selected theme

✨ Visual and Shader Improvements

A new rendering and shader workflow has been developed focused on:

  • Character rendering

  • Promotional and marketing material

  • Cosmetic presentation

This improves visual consistency between:

  • In-game elements

  • Promotional art

  • UI and menus

🎞 Animation and Integration

We continue working on the integration of:

  • New skins

  • Facial animations

  • Rigging improvements

New expression systems and additional polish details for characters have also been added.

🌍 Level Design and Environments

🗺 Planet 4 Progress

Planet 4 is getting closer to completion and is now almost fully playable.

We continue working on:

  • Colliders

  • Gameplay design

  • Visual and environmental polish

🌱 New Biome Variations

New environmental themes and variations have been developed with:

  • Updated vegetation

  • New rocks and cliffs

  • A stronger visual identity for each environment

These improvements have already started being integrated into several new levels..

🏁 Sprint Wrap-Up

This sprint has been one of the most important so far. With the public demo now available, we continue using community feedback to improve the game and keep expanding content, systems, and experiences.
