Raiders Rise changes
🎮 Raiders Rise – Sprint 26 Community Update
Welcome to a new update! This sprint has been focused on preparing the demo experience, improving progression systems, and adding new features both inside and outside the game. Here’s everything we’ve been working on.
🧩 Core Systems and Progression
We’ve been working for some time on getting the game ready for a demo before the next Steam Next Fest.
The upcoming demo will include: tutorial system, Raider unlock system, and Battle Pass progression. Player progress will also be saved and carried over in the future, so nothing you earn will be lost.
🎁 Rewards and Gacha System
We continue making progress on the rewards and Gacha system:
Players will be able to earn rewards through the Battle Pass and different sequences. Rewards include skin fragments, currency, and cosmetics. We have also improved the reward opening sequences, making them more dynamic and satisfying.

The Gacha system is now integrated with the backend and fully working in-game!
🎨 Cosmetics and Customization
The cosmetic system keeps growing and includes skins, chromas (color variants), and sprays.

🧠 Tutorial and Player Progression
The tutorial system keeps improving and now covers the full early player experience.
It includes analytics tools to understand how players interact with the game and detect possible improvement points.
We have also implemented a new progression flow: the game starts simple, and new mechanics are unlocked as you progress. This system is fully implemented and currently in testing and balancing.
🎮 Full Controller Support
The game is now fully playable with a controller: all menus and screens can be navigated using a gamepad.
🔗 Steam Integration
We’ve added important social features: Steam profile integration (name and avatar synced), friends system, the ability to see what your friends are doing in-game, invitation system (invite friends directly, even if they are not playing), and a join system to access your friends’ matches directly from the interface.
🧰 UI and System Improvements
Upgrade and progression menus have been redesigned to be clearer and more organized.
We have also improved the navigation structure and character upgrade systems.
🧠 Characters, Skins, and Animation
🎨 New Content
We are working on new skins and chromas, including:
Desert-themed skins
A “pro player” style skin

Improvements to existing enemies
New variants integrated into gameplay

Animations in the selection screen

🌍 Level Design and Environments
🗺 Level Progress
