changedHi there, explorers! Last week we had to roll back a patch with many features people were expecting, such as the Dowsing Pendulum reacting to unvisited rooms. It also had important fixes related to uncapped framerates and Steam achievements. Over the past weekend we tested the patch thoroughly, and we also sneaked in some adjustments that should improve the overall experience. Below is the full list of features and fixes for both 1.0.2 and 1.0.3 🛠️ Major Bug Fixes High Framerate Physics : Fixed a severe physics engine instability bug caused by uncapped framerates on powerful PCs. This happened when vsync was disabled at the driver level. Platform clipping : Fixed a bug that made Alex clip platforms when walking over them. Alchemist Encounter : Fixed a game-freezing bug triggered when entering the cistern alchemist boss fight after flooding the ruins (wait, is this even possible?). Sticker Issues : Fixed a game-freezing bug that happened when a sticker that was selected without having been found (?????? in the Border menu) was found. Also fixed a bug in borderless mode that prevented stickers from being persisted and later on selected with border active. Save Data : Greatly hardened the save system to make it more robust and prevent data loss. Achievements : Steam achievements will now work properly in offline mode and will pop up the moment their trigger condition is met. Previously achievements were unlocked only after closing the game. ✨ Minor Fixes & Polish Hero Recovery : Alex now fully heals upon respawning in every checkpoint. Pendulum : The dowsing pendulum now reacts to secrets found in unvisited rooms. Sun/moon tiles : Enemies crossing sun/moon tiles will not clip walls any more. Platforming : Slightly increased wall clinging tolerance. Cutscenes : Made camera panning in cutscenes smoother. Also adjusted the position of some objects in the scene. Audio : Polished ending song. Spiders now have an attack sound effect. Fixed door unlock sound effect not playing under certain circumstances. Removed unintended compression from sound effects. UI : Moved border menu to the top level of the options. Performance : Drastically reduced loading time from title screen to the game. UX : Added a required key press to skip the completion screen, so people have time to screenshot them and brag with their friends. Armadillo (Rolly) offset : Fixed a bug that made armadillos roll a bit detached from the ground. Thank you again for all your support and feedback, and also for the patience with the previous patch. Our next patch should take a bit longer, but it should include long-requested features (from even before the game's release) such as multiple save files, and having a dedicated button for the javelin. For fans of Raider Kid music, please remember that on Friday the game's soundtrack should be available on all platforms. Don't forget to check it out! Finally, if you enjoyed our game (or not!), please leave a review. Every written feedback is very important for us. If you run into any other issues, please let us know in the Steam discussions or on our Discord . Happy exploring!
