changedBalanceMonsters with very high Initiative now buff on turn 1 instead of immediately frontloading damage. (Early turns should feel less “oops you’re dead” and more tactical.)
changedBalanceCleric starting relic now reduces Max HP by 50% (percentage-based) instead of a flat value. (This should make him much more playable on higher ASCENSION levels and also make him a bit more easier in early game)
removedBalanceEXPOSED no longer requires MARKED to increase damage (making it more universally usable).
changedBalanceSHARPSHOOTER now checks for MARKED again (not EXPOSED).

Balance

  • Cleric starting relic now reduces Max HP by 50% (percentage-based) instead of a flat value. (This should make him much more playable on higher ASCENSION levels and also make him a bit more easier in early game)

  • EXPOSED no longer requires MARKED to increase damage (making it more universally usable).

  • SHARPSHOOTER now checks for MARKED again (not EXPOSED).

  • Starting event has a few more impactful choices.

  • Reduced Initiative reduction from Spicy Fruit and Exotic Fruit.

  • Relics can no longer reduce Initiative below 1.

Fixes & Changes

  • Completed runs are now removed from save files.

  • DODGE now correctly prevents damage from OPPORTUNITY SPOTTED / EXPOSED.

  • Fixed an issue where a hero could heal from 0 HP and softlock the run.

  • Fixed UNDECISIVE sometimes not selecting a new intent (CHESHIRE enemy).

  • Fixed treasure chest UI closing too quickly after boss fights.

  • Fixed coin counter disappearing too fast in starting fights.

  • Added additional logging to help catch desyncs.

Content

  • Added additional card art (especially for the Cleric).

  • Renamed several Cleric cards to better match their theme.

  • MISERY renamed to PENANCE.
