Maps and schemes: growing through discovery

Today I'd like to share one of my favorite gameplay systems in Quiz Hero Chinese Numbers: Maps and Schemes. 📚✨

Throughout the adventure, Kai can discover these special collections while exploring Aetheria and visiting its libraries.

Completing them is more than simply collecting items.

🗺 Maps are completed by finding Sunlight Stones and solving magical altar puzzles using Sunlight Fragments.

🌙 Schemes are completed through Moonlight Stones and Moonlight Fragments, rewarding players who enjoy exploring and discovering hidden places.

As these collections are completed, they help strengthen Kai's Magic Book, making knowledge itself part of the player's progression.

One of the main ideas behind the game is that learning should not feel separate from the adventure.

Instead, exploration, puzzles, and discovery all work together to help the player grow.

Because sometimes, the greatest power comes from understanding the world around us. ✨
