QUICKDRAW changes
General Changes
Added MOXIE, the Guardian of Aegis, as a new playable character
Updated every scene within the game for widescreen play
Added rotating menu music
Added at least one color palette for each character
More palettes inbound!
Added silhouettes of remaining characters to the playable character grid
Added universal controller UI indicators to all scenes
Updated the bounty board with new lore entries for all playable characters
Redesigned one of the animated signs in the back of the CITY stage
Local Play
Added frame perfect round starts
This triggers when a player presses an action within the 2 frame window leading up to round start
This mechanic doesn't guarantee a round win, only that your action will come out immediately
Added a clock at bottom center of the screen that rotates once before round start
Completes it rotation when the frame perfect buffer window begins, 2 frames before round start
Added effects for preemptive player actions that send players into the failed state
Target Rush
Updated Target Rush hitboxes for more dynamic gameplay across the cast
All characters now have an indicator for how difficult Target Rush becomes when playing as them
Difficulty indicator ranges from 1 to 3 coins
Nyx is the only 3 coin character in the game, good luck!
High scores are stored based on the current combination of: character, mode, and speed
Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug where a player's action would not be registered when executed on the edge of the input buffer window
Fixed up various punishes animations across the cast
Known Bugs
Pixel, Nyx, and Moxie have all had one of their punishes disabled as we fix some widescreen-specific issues
