removedWe removed the hammer weapons. We concluded that their slowness wasn't a good fit for the pace of the game, and their crit based effects were not frequent enough to justify playing a hammer build.
changedWe increased the attack rate of daggers (to 1 second per attack) and swords (1.4 seconds per attack)
changedWe reworked the constellations and how they are offering permanent bonuses for your runs, so you can reach further more easily.
changedWe adjusted how the level progression works. Now, leveling is more liniarily difficult versus exponentially how it was before.
addedWe added some new recipes - tier 2 recipes that require a tier 1 + orbs.

We're releasing some new content, with some new items that will be available in the demo.

Unfortunately we're using some placeholder art for the next 1-2 weeks for some of these items, but we're working tirelessly to get the proper artwork ready!

Here's what other changes we did:

  • We removed the hammer weapons. We concluded that their slowness wasn't a good fit for the pace of the game, and their crit based effects were not frequent enough to justify playing a hammer build.

  • We increased the attack rate of daggers (to 1 second per attack) and swords (1.4 seconds per attack)

  • We reworked the constellations and how they are offering permanent bonuses for your runs, so you can reach further more easily.

  • We made the enemies a little bit bulkier because it was too easy to defeat them

  • We adjusted how the level progression works. Now, leveling is more liniarily difficult versus exponentially how it was before.

  • We added some new recipes - tier 2 recipes that require a tier 1 + orbs.

  • We added some new item types to test out: necklaces which improve the bonuses of the cards and rings which offer various in-combat bonuses.

  • Enemies now can drop items as loot

  • Added a new consumable, Soul Fragment, which can be used to remove one random status (it can remove even the Doom debuff).

  • Various bugfixes
