The next patch for Quarantine Zone: The Last Check brings the most important update of the recent times - a cat-antistress, as our big thank you from the development team to the community.
Cat is neither infected, nor does it bite, but it reacts to your actions.
You can toggle it (as well as new gloves) in Main Menu → Settings — in case you want to play shift with no purring employee at the checkpoint.
We wanted to express our appreciation for everyone who keeps following the game, and, as part of the usual patch with fixes, we are adding two things:
Your new feline companion can be found at the entrance to the checkpoint or at your quarters. You can interact with the cat by using your tools and you can also pet it!
Gloves. There was a valid question raised previously - why is the main character the only one who wears fingerless gloves in a potentially hazardous environment? Now you can equip a brand new pair of sterile gloves for safety.
Changelog:
Added cat to checkpoint
Added glove skin, which can be selected in the main menu
Added an option to adjust gamepad sensitivity in Settings
Fixed day 13 bulletin board task softlock
Fixed evacuation info notification (it could, in some cases, show -1 day on the next day after the evacuation)
Fixed temperature displaying as Fahrenheit instead of Celsius when opening the symptoms tab in the lab
Fixed the survivors’ profiles issue that caused duplicate symptoms to appear in the same slots
Fixed the Steam Deck issue that caused the cursor to disappear during base building tutorial
Fixed Tablet issue: right trigger on the controller and left mouse button no longer incorrectly trigger the tool in hand
Removed notification prompting players to go to sleep right after they wake up
Removed the players’ ability to switch between tools when accessing the tablet
Our team will continue to address the issues in further updates to the game. The fixes for issues such as not being able to run after using the lab or FOV on ultrawide screens are in the works, but they take time to make sure they will fix the issue for all players. We keep an eye out for any of the information that you share with us both here on the Steam Community Forum and on our other social media, including our Discord community.
Thank you for your continued support!
