removedRe-implementation of the Death Tunnel with LOD mesh sets for the panels, rings, and turret bodies. Leveraging the renderers isVisible attribute allowed us to turn the teeth rotation on and off as well as inhibit turret firing once the model is no longer in the visual range of LOD1 (25% vertical screen fill).
changedOur continuing efforts to reduce the games memory footprint for both the CPU and GPU are paying off. Game's CPU load runs around 1GB, down from a whopping 16GB. GPU is "getting better" with the LOD efforts and draw call batching.
