addedQUADRILLION: Genesis of Y'garoth What’s Happening: We’ve decided to completely overhaul and rework Quadrillion from the ground up! Originally planned as a doom-like game without a story, it has become clear that we cannot continue without a narrative due to the project’s functionality and constraints. Thus, on August 17, 2024, we made the decision to revise the entire game. Building on the initial story framework we had implemented, we have developed an intriguing new scenario. Here’s what you can expect:
changedUniversal Render Pipeline (URP) for Enhanced Graphics and Performance! Improved Visual Quality: With URP, you'll experience better lighting, more vibrant colors, and more detailed graphics that bring every aspect of the game to life. Optimized Performance: URP ensures smooth performance across various platforms, reducing lag and providing a smoother gaming experience on all devices.
addedNew and Improved AI (NPCs): We’re introducing a new AI system capable of shooting at you and attacking with melee weapons. We’re also working on helpful AI, including “pet AI” (like a dog). The game will feature NPCs who assign you tasks and missions. Additionally, we plan to include voice acting for some NPCs, so you’ll be able to chat with them!
addedNew Environments: As the story progresses, we’ve prepared new maps and locations for you. We’ve also improved the quest and mission systems. The new environments look fantastic!
addedWeapons: We’re adding new weapons, including both firearms and melee weapons! We’re also working on weapon attachments. (Note: We are currently revising all animations, with a focus on adding missing reload animations!)
changedWhen is it Coming Out? We’re aiming for a release in December 2024, but there might be a delay. Although we’re in an advanced stage of development, working with just two people means that things can change. However, we’re preparing many more surprises that we haven’t revealed yet.
