WHAT'S IN PROVINCES 0.1a
This Update focuses on UI fixes, especially in the main menus when booting up the game, and also adds our first custom map that players can easily load and play on.
NEW CYCLOPS MAP
The Main thing that has been added to this update is a new map prefab that the player can easily open up and do what they want with it they can edit it in anyway, and place cultures and nations on it as the player chooses
This is a map that has all the main biomes on it currently and perfectly runs as a small basic map with a level of personality shaped in rough natural looking way where every single province has been custom made and has a fitting name from the ColdCrown in the North to the Great Basin in the South its a perfect tutorial map to try everything that Provinces currently has to offer.
BUG FIXES
Fixed a Error where audio did not play in the main menu.
Fixed a Bug where the player could move around on the map while typing.
Fixed a Bug where it let the player make a nation without a culture assigned.
Fixed a Bug where the player could click on provinces through menus.
Made it so every menu can be closed with the ESC key.
Added X close Buttons to the top right of all menus that did not have them.
Fixed a bug where the pause panel always opened on ESC, even if ESC was being used to close a menu.
KNOWN ISSUES
Occupied Provinces can have broken politics upon transfer to new nation
Menus Such as resources need a proper Icon to click on
Text scaling inconsistent in some menus such as resource ledger
character age 0-3 can temporarily load the wrong character model
Regime logic does not work and election in electoral regimes can fail to activate
Army AI can be inconsistent when on defence and can start to do a counter attack even while where there supposed to be defending is being occupied.
WHATS NEXT
Making a Player Guide in scene so the game is easier to understand for new players
Addressing Text inconsistency especially on lists like resources
Making Proper Icons for all menus currently in the game
More ambitions around City Stability
I will be working to make sure all known issues are full fixed, The Next update will be focusing on more surface level issues based around UI and Player Understanding another small but necessary Update like this one today and I am planning to post this early next week. Then once this is done I plan to move onto larger updates both fixing known issues and adding new features focusing on characters and ambitions.
