Protoball is Ready!

MAJOR UPDATE IS LIVE — PROTOBALL Steam post image We fixed a few small bugs and QoL things, added Turkish + re-translated every other language, dropped three new skins, made the shield bigger, and added a ton of new stuff (including game modes) in so more of you balla's never stop ballin'. Four modes ready right now — host your own server and try them all:

• Sport Mode (the core experience) — Fast-paced team arena sports. Score by getting the Protoball into the goal. Two maps, test the "OG" arena from when we first made Protoball. Retro!

• Pitball / Lavaball — Floor, walls, and ceiling are lava/deadly. Blast opponents off platforms with shields and score the ball to bring a teammate back. Last one standing, best of 5.

• Golf — Protoball mechanics turned into a clever, satisfying golf experience. Play with friends or alone. Mercy clause added so you can’t score higher than double par.

• Fight Club — Raw combat with the same movement tech. C and Left Click are your attacks. Feels like 3D Soul Calibur mixed with Smash Bros. Host a server and go.

Challenge your best eSports buddy to a 1v1 in Protoball and see how it goes. talk trash to them if you have to. Train offline, climb leaderboards, host servers, jump into online matches. Ranked play, seasons, teams, and tournaments are built in.Party system works — use the party on the main menu to invite a friend, then matchmake and you’ll queue into the same server together. Check the server browser too; pickup games pop up at random times. Bots are in (Orbital arena included). Behavior and skill got an update so they’re more fun (still improving). They’re not gods yet but they work. Patch notes — Talk Trash, Grind hard

• Global chat is live: open, type, send, Esc to close (no accidental pause). Works in ready-up, face-off, and after the ball hits the floor.

• Grind is its own bind now — remap it without dragging Fast Fall / Slide along for the ride

• Open Chat / Send is remappable too (probably… test it)

• Audio mix cleanup so SFX, dialogue, and UI actually respect your volume sliders

• Smoother camera return after stun, elim, and score celebrations (less ghosting / tearing)

• Vote Forfeit option in Pause Menu (press ESC while playing)

• Fixed player FOV when joining from spectator to player

• Curve Lock: when setting spin (right click), press WASD to set curve direction, then ALT to lock it. Move any direction without changing the curve.

• Shield pickups now RESET shield cooldown

• Increased the size of the shield
