changedGreetings Explorers, Researchers, Boarders, & Hunters! That major update inside of this current version is a change to how you are supposed to login. People who have played already have communicated to me that they were having issues with "multiplayer". The one thing I'd like to point out is, whenever you login: You are connected to the main server already, and you can join a snowboarding event from anywhere in the overworld.
changedGreetings Explorers, Researchers, Boarders, & Hunters! The way the matchmaking system used to work was: 1. You would start matchmaking via the shortcut bar Steam post image

Greetings Explorers, Researchers, Boarders, & Hunters!

With the launch out of the way, and the holidays upcoming, there is still a lot that must be done for future updates. This is why I have considered some of the feedback that has already been submitted, and added onto the game.

That major update inside of this current version is a change to how you are supposed to login. People who have played already have communicated to me that they were having issues with "multiplayer". The one thing I'd like to point out is, whenever you login: You are connected to the main server already, and you can join a snowboarding event from anywhere in the overworld.

The way the matchmaking system used to work was: 1. You would start matchmaking via the shortcut bar Steam post image

Now, that seems a bit confusing to some people because they would arrive to an empty lobby, and think that something is wrong. The game just released and there was nobody online at the time, so nobody would join their game and allow them to start because each game type had a minimum requirement of several people instead of just one.

This was an obvious issue, leading players to think that the multiplayer had yet to be implemented or broken, and that's bad.

So the solution I'm incorporating into this update is a new login system, and hub, to further simplify the UI and give better information to players. Now when you login is a new menu that allows you to CHOOSE what you'd like to do, and where you'd like to go:

With the new menu you can select whether you would like to login directly to the overworld, hub, or your room!

The Hub is a new location that can allow you to see lobbies and their information. You can then join based off its current status (whether its full or not). Once you've joined a lobby, you will see a familiar screen that will be an in-world room.

With this update, also comes a Time-Attack / Practice mode. If there are not enough players online, or you cannot find a lobby, you may still try some of the maps in this mode. You may also login to the OverWorld for more content to explore!

That is all the content for this patch.

I'll be adding more maps, better visuals, animations, items, and overall content in the coming weeks. So make sure you stay tuned and keep an eye out for more!
