Back in March of this year, we released the Ford Falcon FG for free for all players. But something was missing.

So now, along with Update 2.1 the Holden Commodore VF joins Project Motor Racing as part of the free Aussie Rivals Pack bringing one of touring car racing’s great rivalries to the grid: Ford versus Holden.

Now reunited under the "Aussie Rivals Pack" free DLC, the Holden Commodore VF enters the fight in Project Motor Racing to face off against its blue oval rival.

This is a proper red-blooded touring car: a 5L Chevy V8 up front, drive to the rear, and enough attitude to turn every corner exit into a protracted negotiation about survival. Built for the Car of the Future era, it thrives on heavy braking, committed rotation, and precise throttle control when the tyres are loaded and the kerbs start fighting back.

Alongside the GT3 and GT4 overhaul in Update 2.1, the AUS V8 class also receives a complete handling and tyre overhaul and updates to aero sensitivity, inertia, centre of gravity, brake ducts, brake heat behaviour, and new default setups.

Career Mode events that permit the AUS V8 class have also been adjusted to allow for the use of the newly added Holden Commodore VF.

Blue versus Red. Ford versus Holden. Bathurst arguments strongly encouraged.
