Project Motor Racing changes
The Factory Driver Challenge has been reimagined in Project Motor Racing.
What was once a fixed challenge format is now a sharper, cleaner leaderboard fight. One car, one circuit, one target on a two-week rotation to best highlight the 100+ cars in the sim.
Put your lap together and see where you stand against the rest, and maybe even the best!
These new events will run for two weeks and give drivers a rotating selection of cars from across the sim, from modern GT machinery to prototypes, hypercars, old-school monsters, cars that treat rear grip as a temporary arrangement, and even the occasional DLC-loaner.
No excuses. No traffic. No “I was on a bad strategy”. No “Traffic sucks”!
Just you, the car, the circuit, and the leaderboard that never lies!
Factory Driver Challenges 1st - 14th July 2026
| Car | Track |
|---|---|
| Ford Mustang GT3 | Sebring International Raceway - GP |
| Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport | Northampton - International |
| BMW V12 LMR | Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps |
| Aston Martin Valkyrie Hypercar | Daytona International Speedway |
| Dodge Viper Competition Coupe | Canadian Tire Motorsport Park |
| Mazda RX-7 GTO | Mount Panorama Circuit |
Each challenge is built to test something different: braking discipline, aero commitment, traction control, kerb bravery, prototype speed, rhythm, and in the case of Mount Panorama Circuit, your deepening relationship with walls.
Factory Driver Challenges will now rotate every two weeks.
Thank you for your support. We hope you continue to enjoy Project Motor Racing. Get out and post a time!
