More Settings!!!
The More Settings update is finally here! And it contains many new features and fixes, here are the biggest new features!
Added advanced graphics settings. Unreal Engine is a heavy one, not only in size but also for your computers "well-being", so customizable graphics settings not only make life easier for players, since they can have maximum frame rates while still keeping some quality, but it also makes your computer work as little as possible, since you have set in the perfect settings for your computer.
Added SFX settings. Sound is a crucial part of any experience, but sometimes it can get a little loud for your liking. So customizable sound settings play a pretty big role in you as a player liking the experience of playing the game.
Added local achievements. Achievements have been added to give players more stuff to do and also give them a sense of accomplishment. The achievements are not connected to steam yet, but I can assure you that they will be in the next update.
Added collectibles. Collectibles are another one of these "more stuff to do things" I have added to the game. There is not much to say about them, since it's your job to find them. So, Good luck!
Redesigned the UI: The UI has been redesigned from the ground up to look better and flow better, it even comes with a full redesign of the main menu. Before it was just a plain image, it looked good yes, but it could be even cooler if it was a 3D environment.
Along with these new features come some fixes and quality of life improvements, here is the complete list.
Changed the object pick up system from trigger boxes to line trace.
Fixed an issue where the level Just Run would auto complete when being reloaded after the last sub-puzzle.
Fixed an issue where the pause button would randomly stop working.
Disabled the ability to pause during cut scenes to avoid any problems.
Improved frame rates in the server room of Just Run from an average of 33fps to an average of 42fps.
